Prime Motors Direct ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12345678), authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (firm reference 987654).   • Identity & contact data: name, email, phone, postal address.
  • Financial data: where you apply for finance, lender-required information including income, employment and credit history.
  • Vehicle data: vehicles you've enquired about, saved or part-exchanged.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, cookies (see below).
  • Marketing preferences: your consents for marketing communications.

3. Lawful bases for processing

We rely on the following UK GDPR lawful bases:

  • Contract: to provide vehicles, finance brokering and after-sales services.
  • Legitimate interests: to run our business, prevent fraud and improve our services.
  • Legal obligation: FCA, HMRC, anti-money-laundering and consumer-protection requirements.
  • Consent: for optional marketing communications and non-essential cookies.

4. Sharing your data

We share personal data only with:

  • Panel finance lenders and credit reference agencies (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion).
  • Service providers (hosting, payment, analytics) under strict data processing agreements.
  • Regulators, law enforcement and HMRC where legally required.

We never sell your personal data.
